The investigating judge of the Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Court explained the continuation of investigations in the case of the arrested Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Liquidation Affairs, Adnan Al-Jumaili, and the parties involved with him.
And the judicial media said that the competent judge that as a result of the careful follow-up to seize the financial proceeds resulting from the waste in the projects implemented by the accused and the parties to the case, the total amounts of money seized have increased to reach (10) million US dollars, and (31) billion Iraqi dinars.
He pointed out that the continuous efforts by the court resulted yesterday, Sunday, in the seizure of approximately (20) billion Iraqi dinars that were hidden in a farm, in addition to thwarting the smuggling of (5) billion Iraqi dinars in a province.
And he added that the legal procedures also included the seizure and seizure of (70) properties, and (21) modern wheels, in addition to gold jewelry estimated at (3) kilograms, stressing that the investigations and prosecution of the other involved are continuing until the completion of all legal procedures.
