Head of Ghadan Foundation for Risk Management during his meeting with the Japanese Ambassador: think tanks are a key pillar to support decision-makers in Iraq
Dr. Abbas Radhi, President of Ghadah Risk Management, said that think tanks and research institutions represent a fundamental pillar in supporting decision-makers in Iraq, by providing studies and strategic visions that contribute to facing various challenges.
And Dr. Abbas Radi, during a meeting with the Japanese Ambassador in Baghdad, Mr. Akira Endo, said that research institutions are playing an increasingly important role in analyzing the political and economic situation, and providing practical solutions that contribute to enhancing stability and decision-making.
He pointed out that the Ghadan Foundation for Risk Management worked through its experts and specialists to provide initiatives and ideas that helped address a number of crises, including contributing to ending the political stalemate that Iraq witnessed during the past period. Dr. Abbas Radhi called for the participation of Japanese companies, especially in the energy sector, in the second edition of the Baghdad International Energy Forum scheduled for late October.

For his part, the Japanese ambassador congratulated Iraq on the formation of the new government, expressing his country's aspiration to strengthen relations and joint cooperation, praising the role played by the study centers in supporting the democratic process and decision-making.
The meeting was attended by the Executive Director of the Baghdad International Energy Forum, Mr. Ahmed Al-Wendi, who reviewed the efforts made to ensure the wide participation of government agencies, local and international companies and specialized experts in the second edition of the Baghdad International Energy Forum.
