OVERVIEW

The Atlas is an open-access resource that provides a comprehensive analysis of the risks resulting from global changes and their impact on population and economic systems. Through accurate maps, the Atlas displays environmental data, global climate change, population dynamics, economic systems, and associated risks at a resolution of 0.25 grid degrees. The atlas also uniquely categorizes and analyzes risk contributions at the national level, providing an unprecedented database for comparative analysis and decision-making.

The Atlas contributes to the academic debate on climate risk governance by providing high-resolution data and innovative methodologies. It provides practical insights for achieving global resilience and sustainability, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and is a research and educational tool that bridges science and policy, enabling informed decision-making in the face of complex global changes.
