Dr. Ziad Tarek, spokesperson for the Baghdad International Energy Forum, said that Ghadan Risk Management has decided to launch this important forum, which is the first of its kind in Iraq and the region.
He explained that the forum brought together Arab and international countries specialized in the energy sector, especially in the fields of traditional fuels and oil, to be a platform for dialogue and cooperation that strengthens Baghdad's position on the global energy map.
He noted that the importance of the forum stems from the symbolism of Baghdad, which hosted the founding conference of OPEC, as well as Iraq's status as the owner of the second largest oil reserves in the Arab world.
