Turkish Galik: Baghdad International Energy Forum opens channels of dialogue between investors and the Iraqi government

The Baghdad International Energy Forum, which was held in the Iraqi capital recently, is one of the most important specialized gatherings in this vital sector, according to Mehmet Tadil, Regional Director of the Turkish company Galik Energy in the Middle East, noting that it witnessed wide participation from international and local companies, reflecting the importance of the event and its role in opening direct channels of dialogue between investors and the Iraqi government.

The forum is a crucial opportunity for international companies to discuss challenges and opportunities face-to-face with the Iraqi side, he said, expressing his hope that its results will have positive repercussions on the future of the country's energy sector.

He added that Iraq is facing some issues in the field of energy, but such challenges are not unique to Iraq, but are repeated in a number of countries in the Middle East and other regions, noting that such gatherings allow for the exchange of experiences and finding practical solutions.

Tadle noted that Galik Energy, which has been operating in Iraq since 2009 and has projects in 24 countries around the world, has long experience in the region and sees tangible progress in the Iraqi energy sector in recent years, expressing his hope that this momentum will continue to achieve better results in the future.
