Haider Al-Hattab of Japan's JAPEX: The Baghdad International Energy Forum is an important opportunity to highlight Iraq's move towards clean energy
The Baghdad International Energy Forum is one of the important conferences at the current stage, as it highlights Iraq's strategic directions in the field of clean energy and reducing its carbon footprint, according to Haider Al-Hattab, representative of JAPEX Japan Petroleum Exploration Ltd.
Al-Hattab said the conference is an opportunity to familiarize foreign companies with the Oil Ministry's policies and current projects, in addition to showcasing the investment opportunities available in the energy sector, especially renewable energies. "This conference has a pivotal role in attracting foreign investment and clearly demonstrates Iraq's direction towards a more sustainable future in the energy sector," he said.
The JAPEX representative pointed out that the organization of the conference was at a high level, especially the choice of Al-Rashid Hotel as the venue for the event, which facilitated the participation of foreign delegations and provided a suitable environment for accommodation and discussions. He added that the official attendance of foreign companies and Iraqi oil sector companies was distinguished and reflects the importance of this event in supporting Iraq's energy ambitions.
JAPEX is one of Japan's leading companies engaged in the exploration, production and transportation of hydrocarbons.
