The Baghdad International Energy Forum, held under the patronage of Prime Minister Mohammed Shi'a Al-Sudani and organized by Ghadan Risk Management, is an important milestone in strengthening Iraq's position in the energy sector, according to political analyst Mazen Al-Zaidi.
Al-Zaidi said that participating in the forum's sessions was a "pleasant opportunity," praising the high organization and high-level attendance that characterized the event, which discussed key issues related to energy and its economics.
"This forum will make Iraq a pivotal pole in the field of energy," he said, noting that it is one of the bright spots in Baghdad at the current stage, especially in light of the growing interest in consolidating Iraq's position as a regional hub in energy markets.
