Journalist Heba Al-Tamimi: Baghdad International Energy Forum is a promising platform to attract investments in renewable energy

The Baghdad International Energy Forum, organized by Ghadan Risk Management, is an important milestone in terms of investment and exchange of expertise between Iraq and major international companies, according to journalist Heba Al-Tamimi, Cairo News Channel's correspondent in Iraq.

Al-Tamimi said in a statement on the sidelines of the forum that holding this event in Baghdad "represents an important opportunity for Iraq to strengthen its position as a regional center in the field of energy," noting that the participation of ministers and high-level officials from major countries, as well as well-established international companies, reflects the volume of international interest in the Iraqi sector.

She added that the forum is not limited to oil and gas files, but pays special attention to the renewable energy sector, which the Iraqi government has begun to take increasingly seriously, especially in light of the decline in the supply of imported gas from neighboring countries.

Al-Tamimi pointed out that the integration of artificial intelligence in renewable energy projects will be among the prominent topics of discussion, making the forum an advanced platform to keep pace with global transformations in the energy sector, and giving Iraq an opportunity to benefit from international expertise and pioneering experiences.
