Ghadan Risk Management thanks the media for covering the Baghdad International Energy Forum

Dr. Abbas Radi Al Ameri, President of Ghadan Risk Management, stressed the importance of the Baghdad International Energy Forum in promoting dialogue on global challenges related to the oil and energy sector. This came during the first day of the forum, which was held at the Al-Rashid Hotel in Baghdad.

Dr. Abbas Radi said in a press conference: "Thank you very much to all media outlets and fellow journalists for this distinguished coverage of an important global event in Baghdad." He explained that the forum represents the first work of the Ghadan Foundation for Risk Management, as it is based on the idea that oil poses a future challenge to the world, whether in its investment or in the continuity of its utilization, in addition to the challenges resulting from environmental and technological impacts.

Dr. Radi pointed out that Baghdad was the incubator for the launch of OPEC 65 years ago, and today the city is returning to be a new and renewed platform for dialogue to develop solutions to the challenges and risks facing the world in the energy sector.

The active presence of oil and energy companies and official institutions of oil-producing countries allows for the discussion of multiple topics that are both challenges and risks, hoping that practical solutions to these challenges will be formulated. He added that these solutions will be presented in the form of policy papers to OPEC, as well as to the current and future Iraqi government and the Ministry of Oil as an official institution.

Dr. Radi concluded his statement by thanking the media once again for their coverage of the forum, stressing that such coverage plays a key role in highlighting the importance of Baghdad as an international platform for discussing global energy issues.
